Rhun Ap Iorwerth AM: I would like to express my opposition to the proposal that "members whose main home is not in Wales ... to be able to claim the cost of residential accommodation" and to "expand the area external to the UK as a whole".

I feel that this would be entirely inappropriate, is unreasonable and failing value for money.

It is inappropriate and unreasonable by the Assembly members should, as a matter of principle, not be living within the nation that has elected them. I would argue that the boundary should not be extended and would not be good value for money. This view has been expressed by a number of constituents who are opposed to taking a backward step as a matter of principle.
